
Working on Agentic AI & SciML
Hi! I’m Shuvayan Brahmachary, a Sr. AI Engineer at Databricks. I previously worked as a SciML researcher at Shell.
Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where I worked with Dr. Nils Thuerey (Jan. 2022 – Sept. 2023).
I also spent time as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Kyushu University, Japan, working with Dr. Hideaki Ogawa (Sept. 2019 – Sept. 2021).
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, where I was advised by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan and Prof. Niranjan Sahoo.
My Ph.D thesis. title is “Finite Volume/Immersed Boundary Solvers for Compressible Flows: Development and Applications”.
